Platform, model, and hosting costs are paid directly by you. For most small businesses this is low monthly usage, but the exact number depends on channel, volume, and model choice. I do not take a cut. Optional maintenance is $49/month after launch. Bookings or payments integration adds $500–$1,500 on top (Calendly, Cal.com, Stripe links) — scoped on the call.

What does $1,990 include?

Why $1,990 and not a subscription?

Because you own it. The workflow, the prompts, the knowledge base, and the infrastructure are yours. You pay any platform, model provider, or hosting provider directly. No retainer, no lock-in, no monthly invoice from me unless you choose optional maintenance.

Can you help with hosting and monitor it for us?

Yes. I help set up hosting in your account so you own it. If you want uptime monitoring, basic resilience, backups, small updates, and someone watching the deployment, I can maintain it for $49/month. Otherwise, I hand it over and you can run it yourself.

Is this a real AI, or a decision tree?

Real AI. The model reads the question, understands intent, and answers with context from your knowledge base. Not "press 1 for hours" — it is a conversation. Falls back to a human handoff when confidence is low.

Can it book appointments or take payments?

Yes, with integrations. Calendly, Cal.com, or custom calendars for bookings. Stripe payment links for payments. Adds $500–$1,500 to the build depending on the stack; scoped on the free discovery call.

What if it gives a wrong answer?

It's trained to say "I'm not sure — let me get back to you" when confidence is low and routes the conversation to you. After launch, you review low-confidence messages weekly for the first month; I tune the prompts. Included in the 2-week post-launch support.

How long from kickoff to live?

Do I keep the bot if we stop working together?
